Dominik Szoboszlai has admitted that his future at Anfield is no longer in his control.
The Hungary captain revealed in a recent interview that despite his desire to stay with the club, negotiations over a new contract extension haven’t moved forward. It’s a bit of a surprise for fans seeing as he’s been such a big part of the team since arriving from RB Leipzig in 2023.
The midfielder still has plenty of time left on his current deal, which doesn’t expire until 2028. But the club wanted to reward his form early.
